We won a competition to develop two buildings as part of a new urban block redevelopment in the heart of Bruxelles led by the visionary Christian Lasserre advised by Joanna Alimanestianu at Group AG in association with the Fondation Pour l’Architecture in Bruxelles led by Maurice Culot.

Seven teams of architects contributed to the reconstruction of this street in the historic centre of Bruxelles. Each project is unique in its stylistic references and apartment layouts yet the combination of projects makes a coherent and fresh contribution to the established urban identity of this historic quarter.

Working with teams of architects from across Europe on the same site was a great experience; celebrating differences and also the shared traditional building inheritance we all have in common.
